UAB “Altechna R&D”, brand name “Workshop of Photonics”, is one of the fastest-growing companies in the Lithuanian laser and photonics industry, cooperating with various international companies and research centers in new product development and launch process.
The company’s core business is currently focused on developing instruments and technological solutions for transparent, semiconductor, and dielectric structure laser processing via ultra-short high-frequency laser pulses. The aim of this project, based on UAB “Altechna R&D” achievements in the experimental research and applications of the interaction between laser radiation and transparent materials, is to develop three new products, based on new world-class technology, and intended for use in manufacturing processes, requiring high accuracy laser systems for material micromachining.
The project will carry out R&D activities, addressing scientific/technological uncertainty, and will explore the knowledge necessary for the creation of new products with new technical specifications. Developed products will be placed on the market and will significantly increase sales revenue.
The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
